Pricing

The CLI is free. The server is your cloud bill.

Hosted plans (beta) add run history and hosted evidence for your runs. They never include server time. The expiry backstop that destroys an expired server is not a plan feature.

Beta billing: what is and is not charged

  • Hosted plans are free during the beta. The prices below are planned, not charged.
  • Usage extras (hour packs, overages) are not enabled.
  • Your provider's invoice is the authority for server costs; Chalupa shows estimates and labels them.
  • A powered-off server still bills until it is destroyed, and data volumes keep billing after chalupa down.

Models use temporary host storage by default and download on each launch. GPU time includes downloads. Optional retained model cache: $0.13/GiB-month.

  • Rates include the provider price and Chalupa's margin.
  • The balance is checked at launch; reservations and automatic usage debits are not yet implemented, and it is not a spending cap.
  • A powered-off GPU server still bills until it is destroyed. Managed GPU servers are destroyed at the deadline, not parked.
  • Balance is refundable within 30 days.

What a managed hour means

A destroyed server does not use hours, and teardown stays available even when your hours run out.

Servers are your cloud bill

Servers and data volumes run in your own cloud account, with direct provider billing and no Chalupa markup. Managed GPU runs in Chalupa’s account at the separate rates shown above.
