Simple BYOC pricing

Pay for control, not marked-up compute.

Chalupa's local CLI remains free. Hosted plans add fleet history, managed hours, CI evidence, and operational visibility. Your DigitalOcean invoice remains yours.

Billing beta is observation-only

Chalupa records managed-hour usage and shows balance alerts, but an empty balance does not block signed activity today. Prepaid packs and overages are not enabled.

What a managed hour means

One managed hour is one hour in which the hosted control plane receives signed activity from an environment. Sunk compute does not consume hours. Safety signals and teardown remain available even when the included balance is exhausted.

DigitalOcean is separate

Droplets and persistent volumes run in your own DigitalOcean account. Chalupa displays provider estimates, but never resells or adds a margin to that infrastructure.

chalupa

Operational signal for ephemeral environments. Compute can be torn down while persistent data follows its own lifecycle.
